Carlos Enrique Carrasco González is a member of the La Tutira Bonanza
Indigenous Reserve in the Department of Tolima, Colombia.
He holds a degree in Forestry Engineering from the University of Tolima, with a specialization in
Timber Production, Processing, and Marketing from the
same institution. He is a native of the municipality of Ibagué, Tolima.
With thirty years of experience in the design and implementation of
productive, agroforestry, and environmental projects. He has worked with
rural and Indigenous communities across the country, promoting
sustainable production alternatives that contribute to improving
the quality of life and the responsible management of natural
resources.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with
governmental and private entities in Colombia, as well as with
international cooperation agencies such as the FAO, the IDB, and the World Bank,
participating in programs such as the Colombia in Peace Fund and the
Orinoquía Biocarbon Program.
